Moooodswing.

It sucks having a really slow day after a really fantastic day. Nahmeaaan!? So, since I can't sleep, I think I'll blog about my week. It's been a while since I've talked about my life in an informal style. LONG POST AHEAD; most likely. I honestly wanna talk about everything.

Monday! First day of 2nd semester. Happy to be going to school? Kind of. But once I got there, it was kinda EHH. -___- You know the awkward first-day-of-school silence in the classrooms?! I can't believe I have to endure that every semester. This never even happened in high school. Or junior high. Or elementary school. Why are we college kids so lame?! Actually, I don't know if this happens anywhere else, but forsure at my college, it does. So, some cons about going back to school:

_Awk silences in every classroom cos no one knows anyone nor do they want to break the silence to get to know someone. Sigh.
_SMOKE CENTRAL. Friiiick, again with the massive secondhand smoking. There goes my lungs.
_Time to search for new rooms.
_Back to square one-- with friends, with grades, with everything.
_Packed rooms & insufficient amounts of seats due to people wanting to petition for classes.

Amongst (what a funny word) all these cons, there are enough pros. Overall, it was a pretty good week! I've definitely been blessed & I'm excited about this semester. Now, some pros.

_Clean grade slates!
_More exercise/No more bumming around!
_Another chance to prioritize.
_Chance to create better first impressions.
_More alone time/More reflection time/More JOURNAL time.

I personally think my classes are pretty interesting. My professors are pretty fantastic so far, so I'm pretty happy about that. I think it may depend on your willingness to bring some optimism to a situation that will keep you awake.

Mondays/Wednesdays:
_Anthropology; Prof is really enthusiastic & mosdef knows her stuff. Haven't made friends, but acquaintances. Sigh, we'll see.
_Human Sexuality; It's... interesting? Hahaha it's funny because I'm taking this class with Richard. We seriously both sit there like, W.T.F. Lawllll it's pretty fun though. & it's a packed class-- FIGURES. Oh, college kids.
_Music Appreciation; I love this class. My professor is so tiny! HAHA she's an elderly lady & MY size. & no, I'm not exaggerating. This class always makes me want to play music afterwards. & DUDE. There are only 2 guitar players in the whole class. One of them is me. -_- Ohmy.

Tuesdays/Thursdays:
_Communications; my first speech went pretty well! Probably because it was about myself. Hah. The awk guy that was in my Soc class last semester is in my Communications class now. I guess he's kinda cute! It's the first time I've heard him speak & he hates making speeches so I don't really know why he's taking this class. -_-
_English; Okay, so I came in exactly at 12 (-_- Bad move.) & I opened the door, only to be greeted by a PACKED room of people. So, unfortunately for a while, I had to stand because all the seats were taken up & more. Goodness. The professor is cheeeeeell though. He's tight.
_Anthropology Lab; (Only on Thursdays!) Richard's taking this lab with me toooo. First day was super boring because it was all just syllabus stuff. Our professor has alot of personality though so I like it. (: & we get to go to the zoo! Woooot.

Friday:
No. School. <3

In between the classes, I spent some time to catch up with people, particularly Richard & Tim & Andrew. They're fantastic people. I honestly don't know what happened to the fob crew because I really miss them. :[ Oh, on... Tuesday? During my break, Richard took me to this practice room in the Fine Arts building & there are individual piano rooms, so we stayed in one & attempted to play piano & sing. Hahahha dang. I'm thinking about going there more often because there's no way I can take out my keyboard. My room is so packed that, for years, I've never been able to bring it back out. I miss it. It's under my bed LOL.

Thursday was fun! I was in a particularly good mood for no reason. Don't you love it when that happens!? (: After communications (I actually participated!), I decided to take a walk over to It's A Grind during my break. There, I was greeted by wonderful new employees (Hahah I WOULD notice that they were new) & a funny tip jar. No, I didn't leave tip. I'm a college student; I kinda need to save up. Sat down, got my tea, & finally journaled for the first time in almost a month. Ohmygah. That felt wonderful. The walk back wasn't too bad; ended up at the center tower thing & Richard met up with me. Talked for a bit & left him to go to English. I'm making friends in that class! We read some interesting stuff, no lie. & I love quickwrites! Yeaaah. (: Afterwards, walked all the way across campus for Anthro lab. Thaaaaat was pretty boring; plus I missed out on Loft lunch with JP, Christine, & Joel. :[ Dangit. So they went bowling afterwards & I was STILL in lab, reading (not really.) the syllabus. Richard fell asleep -_- Told him about my fale Loft lunch so we ended up being really hungry & went to the Loft for lunch. Awww [late] lunch date! (: Split some Island Style Fried Chicken which was FRICKING hot -_____- Hot, as in temperature-wise, not spicy. JP Christine & Joel met up with us during our lunch & we all talked & whatnotsss. Pretty fun(: Joel & I had to wait for JP to take Christine home so we went to Target & bought Blokus 3D (: ...after playing with the toys, of course. HAAAH. Richard bailed after Loft because we've seen each other everyday this week. So. -_- Yeah. Live on BlogTV for a bit! Jammed a LOTTT. I seriously missed singing! & harmonizing! Ahhhhh<3 Then, tried to figure out Blokus3D cos it looked super complicated compared to the OG Blokus. We kinda got it. Before we knew it, it was 9 & we didn't eat dinner. So, Joel, JP & I ended up at Olive Garden (because Mr. Lee's closed at 10 & that was not enough time to maximize consumption) where we ended up at Krysti's table. We were kinda like o_o because we seriously didn't know she worked there. BUT! It was fantastic. She hooked us up, lollll. Zomg, cheese grater. So much laughing. It was also nice that we were one of the last ones there so we didn't worry about being too loud. Went back to JP's & tried playing Blokus again. FINALLY realized that we were playing incorrectly the whole time because Joel failed to read the next column of instructions. Lawl, we totally played by our own rules & made the game more complicated. Oh well. I DOMINATED. YEEEEEEEEE. Almost doubled Joel's score. (8 That's wsup. My last-minute good moves! Finally left around 11:30 ish ? Joel & I sang to oldddd songs on the way home. Gah, he's going back to Boston on Monday. Christine's leaving for Norcal on Monday, too. :[ Whaaaaaack. But yeah, that was my Thursday. My Thursdays are now my Fridays. I love that. 3day weekends is now normal to me.

I knew it would be a long post. I'm pretty sleepy now. 3AM? I haven't slept this late since... winter break. Hah. Lately I've been sleeping no later than 1:30. Pretty amazing. I guess I'm proud of myself. Alright. Sleep. Woooo.
