Nablopomo.

National Blog Posting Month.

Who knew? I'm finally all caught up on Google Reader & apparently it's Nablopomo, which means posting everyday for the whole month! ...Yeah, not happening. Oh well! Maybe I'll start today :)

God is so gracious. It's been a really fun couple of days for me. 'Twas Micah's birthday weekend, then I was greeted with a week of no homework or studying (it gives me a week of brainstorming for Christmas presents!!), then registered for classes which was a breeeeeeze this semester! Basically got all the classes I wanted-- praise the Lord! I'm really just thankful for this week because I know I'll be busy again soon. Time to sprint my way past finals & just get to winter break.

Anyways, IT'S SO COLD. I love it! I love winter & layering & blankets & tea & late night movies & Christmas music & the list goes on! There are so many exclamation points in this post! (What else is new?)

Seems like I'm the only one enjoying the week though-- Micah's been working nonstop & he had a really bad headache yesterday which resulted in me searching the house for meds & thinking of any kind of home remedy to make him feel better... I suck at being a nurse. & I can't even imagine being a mom right now, that's so much harder! -___- & he stayed at TMS for 12+ hours today, partly for class, but mostly to work on a paper. Homie's falling asleep on the phone right now, ahaha. Please keep praying for him! Pray that he does everything for the Lord, with an eternal perspective, & that he relies on His strength. Pride is lame.

Everyone else is studying for quizzes & the next batch of midterms. Man... Gotta remember to use my time wisely. There needs to be an eternal perspective for that too! Maybe I shouldn't be blogging. Whoops. Let me share some excerpts from Valley of Vision before I end this:

Thy blood is the blood of incarnate God,
its worth infinite, its value beyond all thought.
Infinite must be the evil and guilt that demands such a price.
(Valley of Vision, "The Precious Blood")

If ever I am saved it will be by goodness undeserved and astonishing,
not by mercy alone but by abundant mercy,
not by grace but by exceeding riches of grace;
And such thou hast revealed, promised, exemplified
in thoughts of peace, not of evil.
(Valley of Vision, "The Mediator")

It all goes back to the sovereign God.
It's never about what I've done.
AHHHH Lord, You are so good :)
