Epic Creation weekend.

Hahaha that's basically what it was, to sum it up.

"Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one,
and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing."
--Isaiah 40:26 [niv]

This verse popped up several times this weekend. I first read it at Prayer Meeting, & shared with everyone that it was a key verse to me, among all the others. Little did I know that I'd see more evidence of His greatness all weekend. Through thunderstorms & clear blue skies, cloudy weather & sunny weather, His presence really is made known to all people.

"The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard."
--Psalm 19:1-3 [niv]

We are nothing compared to Him & yet, we are able to speak to this God so GREAT through His Son, Jesus Christ. At this moment, Jesus prays for us at the right hand of God. Ahhh I'm glad we talked about the Intercessor references in Sunday School. It bugged me ALL WEEK because I couldn't remember where it was in the Bible. But yeah, Jesus bridges our gap between us & God. I think that's pretty cool.

DANG. We're so small! We can't even begin to fathom His preeminence (Oooh, good word, good word.). So cool. Seriously, what an awesome God. It was pretty tiiight seeing the verse pop up in today's church sermon, too! Hahahah our God's so bomb. (: He makes me happy, which makes sense, since He's the source of my joy, nahmeaaan?! (:
