Not gonna lie, I'm sketchy about next semester. Just finished registering for classes & I made lots of (hopefully) legit decisions & it's mosdef gonna be harder than this semester. To be honest, I went pretty easy on myself this semester... probably why I allotted time to procrastinate. I'm the type that works best when I have enough to do. All the free time wasn't that great for me; & plus, everyone's actually gonna be in school so I won't really be hanging out with people before they leave the state this time. Is this what registering is gonna feel like every time? I felt so pressured to make last minute decisions & I was constantly praying, trying to make sure I got the best classes with the best professors to end up where I need to be at the end of these two years.
Maybe sometimes, what you wanted isn't what's best for you. I got the 2nd to last spot in one of the most impacted courses but ended up dropping it because it took up so much time that I couldn't take tons of other classes I wanted. That's how it is, I suppose. I think I have a good balance, subject-wise. I'll be super busy when it comes to Mon-Thurs, though. But HEEEEY, no Friday classes! (:

Eeeeeks. No break on MW, but at least they're not too bad. Especially since I start out the day with the more important class. Then there's the whole stuck-at-school from 9:30-4:50 on Thursdays, but it's pretty much a day of high school, just starting later; nahmean? 9:30 classes usually work for me. I can't deal with 8AM classes. & I'm not down with night classes. AAAAND I checked all my profs on RateMyProfs & they're all pretty freaking cool. So I guess I'm pretty excited! ...I guess. Hah.
So much to think about;
--Pwning the end of 1st semester (which I mosdef plan to do.)
--Prepping for CPYF party, concer-- EVERYTHING.
--New classes.
--Family parties (+ REUNION.)
Okay... I gotta study for Psych final.. which is in 3 hours. Yep. FML!?? Lawl. Just kidding. If I do decently on this final, I mosdef have an A. That is a good feeling.
I really pray this will work out. All in His hands.

ReplyDeletedon't stress too much about registering for classes. at the beginning of the semester you can always switch classes if you need to. (at least, that's how it worked at cal poly)
good thing you did research on your professors; that's one of the smartest things you can do cuz one bad professor can ruin your semester and force you to retake the class.
