Whoa guys, remember the OG abc kids!? "Illuminating television... -lightbulb on-" ?!?! & One Saturday Morning!??! Sigh. Goooooood stuff.
Anyways.
On Monday, I smiled at a hobo. (LOL I initially typed "hoob." I kinda love typos.)
Let me tell you the story. So, generally every M/W/F, I take a walk to journal somewhere. It's nice. Totally different from blogging. I decided that I wanted to journal at a bus stop. I like journaling at different places; you gain different perspectives that way. Except, once I got to the bus stop, I saw a hobo-looking man there. I mean, yeah it was kind of awkward, but I couldn't turn back. I would've felt stupid. Starbucks was on the way, so I decided I would go there instead. So then I ended up passing by the bus stop & I smiled at him & I think he mumbled something along the lines of "Good morning." I'd like to think it was "good morning."
Did I make his day? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe that was just an awkward moment for both of us. (Ugh.) But, I'd like to think that I made his day a bit brighter.
Oh, & there was a guy at Starbucks who took some really amazing photographs. His photographs were sitting on the table & he was examining some negatives. Sigh. I should've complimented on his work. So cool!
P.S. The more I think about it, the more it seems right.
P.P.S. The more I think about it, the less I feel.
P.P.P.S. These are just notes to self.
OMGSH LORIS! that journaling thing sounds like something I should do. There's this park near my house that I used to go to a lot before whenever I just needed to vent or relax. Something about that place just makes me feel at peace. I think it would be an awesome place to go journal.
