& even after almost two months, BlogTV still has this impact on me. Gross that I talk about it so much. But I'd like to talk about one of last night's broadcasts...
Franklin Gervacio is such a great guy, seriously. If you haven't seen his YouTube videos, you should. Something in him drives him to play & to feel & to be inspired. It's encouraging being able to see this guy grow, realizing that there is hope for this young generation. We are capable of inspiring, of encouraging. We are capable of so much more than what people assume. We can be the change that this corrupt world needs.
ANYWAYS. I got all hardcore alla the sudden. Let's backtrack.
So I was in Franklin's broadcast & we were talking about movies. & not just any movies, but movies that really get to you. The kinds that make you think. The kinds that make you cry. Those movies. His perspective about certain movies (one in particular, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory! Hah.) gave me reassurance on my own perspective on .. life, I guess? I was never the type to feel emotional when listening to songs, reading books, watching movies. But as we grow older, I believe we grow with more empathy, simply because we, as individuals, have gone through so much more. I thought I was getting all soft because I've been tearing up more & thinking things through so thoroughly (WOW mega alliteration..). However, I am reassured to say that our developed understandings will help us cope with this fast-paced world. Finding the underlying meaning, or even creating one, can trigger so much in one's mind.
............ohmygah, I talked so much, trying to build up a great point, only to forget the point itself. But I thiiiink I got to where I was supposed to be? LAME. I fail.
But I hope you understand this little snippet.
Alas, I must get to school. Let the political debates begin.
By the way, I hope Obama knows what he's doing. & I pray he is surrounded by intelligent people. The tax stuff seems very sketchy. We'll see what happens.
Oh, and in case anyone was wondering; Yes on Prop 8. I have my reasons. & I am SO SO happy to say that He still reigns.
